• The most popular beach in Adelaide, Glenelg Beach

  Glenelg Beach is only a short tram or car ride away from the city centre of Adelaide, making it a super popular beach for those who are visiting the area. The reason why Glenelg is such a popular attraction is due to its abundance of entertainment, for just about anyone. Along the main road is a variety of cool cafes, boutique clothing stores, restaurants, and many places to pick up a unique souvenir. As well as the iconic Beach house amusement centre that has arcade games, waterslides, rides and so much more!

• Laid-back Henley Beach

  Henley Beach is the place to go if you want to enjoy some of Australia’s most delicious and fresh seafood. There are several well-known café’s and restaurants that serve up some of the best seafood you will have ever had! The beach welcomes surfers, swimmers, paddleboarders, and those who wish to just have a look around. If you are into fishing, head to the jetty, where you can even catch your own lunch!

• Historic coastal town of Semaphore

  Located just 14 kilometres from Adelaide’s town centre, Semaphore is a quirky little beach town, that has been historically preserved for hundreds of years. There are many antique shops, Victorian style architecture, and a range of hipster cafes and bars that are proud of their beautiful little town’s heritage. At the beach there is a carousel from the 1920’s and a small adventure park with waterslides.

• Picturesque Brighton Beach

  Like Glenelg, Brighton is close to the centre of Adelaide and is easily accessible. Unlike Semaphore, Brighton possesses a more modern vibe. At the Jetty Road Brighton precinct, you will find so many gorgeous cafes, eclectic homewares, and a variety of pubs that serve up some great meals. The beach itself is great for just about anyone, whether you wish to swim, fish, surf or just watch, Brighton Beach is perfect.

Adelaide has many draw cards that make it such a great place to visit, particularly its abundance of beautiful beaches that line the coast.
